Having been raised as an “expat kid” in Egypt, Shalini always felt most at home at airports. However, since trading in the Mediterranean Sea for Lake Ontario (rumoured to be about the same size), Shalini now calls Toronto home. In addition to being a traveller, Shalini is known as SBA’s resident foodie and Instagram controller. No stranger to diversity, Shalini maintains a varied practice specializing in accident benefits, tort bodily injury, fraud, and disability claims.

When she’s not shark cage diving in Cape Town or finding the best new restaurant in Toronto, Shalini can be found arguing limitation periods at the Divisional Court, and correcting how people pronounce her name.

It’s “Shall-a-knee” not “Sha-lee-knee”.
