Krista grew up in a small rural village north of Toronto, which naturally meant that she watched a lot of movies growing up. The daughter of a Dutch farmer, Krista knows her way around the vast fields of insurance law. She is always up for a movie trivia challenge (and not just for movies about farming).

Krista primarily advises clients on tort, priority/loss transfer disputes and coverage claims. She is also a former Olympic runner (actually, she was just carried by the torch-bearer for a few metres in the lead-up to the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics). She gets very nostalgic whenever she watches Cool Runnings.
