Stas practices in insurance-related litigation. He has a broad range of experience including tort claims, accident benefits, subrogation, priority and loss transfer disputes, WSIB matters, and fraudulent claims.
In addition to conducting several written hearings, Stas conducted a seven-day in-person hearing before the License Appeal Tribunal and second-chaired an appeal of a private arbitration decision at the Ontario Superior Court.
Having worked for a municipality as a lifeguard, head coach of a lifesaving club, and a pool supervisor for nearly a decade as well as being heavily involved with the Lifesaving Society of Ontario, Stas is uniquely qualified to provide opinions regarding municipal and aquatic safety liability. His hard-working nature, explorative personality, and desire to succeed allow him to deliver creative solutions to his client’s legal problems.
